MMID (How to register for this)

MMID :

Mobile Money Identifier

MMID stands for Mobile Money Identifier.  It is a seven digit code issued by the bank to its customer on registration for IMPS (instant interbank electronic transfer done through mobile phones). MMID is unique for each bank account.

The Remitter (customer who wants to send money) and the Beneficiary (customer who wants to receive the money) should have the MMID to do interbank funds transfer.

Why do I need MMID?
To do mobile banking it is necessary for the remitter as well as the beneficiary to have MMID provided by the bank.  This helps to make the fund transfer safe and secure.

If the customer has more than one account the customer can have different MMID’s for his/her different accounts which are linked to the same mobile number. The MMID will be different for different accounts of the account holder.

MMID Creation/Retrieval/Cancellation


1)  MMID Creation -Users Can Create MMID using one of the following method

    1.  Through ATM

    Go to ATM >Mobile Registration>IMPS>10  digit Mob No.>Confirm


    MMID will be created next day and customer will receive SMS

          

    2.  Through Branch

     User is required to approach the nearest SBBJ branch for online registration. MMID will be created immediately and customer will receive SMS.       


2) MMID Retrieval

     Send SMS “MMID SBBJ" to 9223440000

               


      3)  MMID Cancellation

     Send SMS "MMIDCANCEL" to 9223440000.

For others to generate MMID at ATM:

Swipe your Debit Card > Select Mobile Banking Registration > Enter ATM PIN > Select SMS / Secure Code / IMPS > Enter Your Mobile Number > Confirm.


Or Apply at the Branch for online registration.

User will receive MMID through SMS.
For Retrieval / Cancellation of MMID:
1. Send SMS “MMID SBH” to 9223440000 to retrieve your MMID.


2. Send SMS “MMIDCANCEL” to 9223440000 to cancel your MMID.

3. Send SMS “MMID SBH Account Number” to 9223440000 for retrieving MMID for a particular account.

For Retrieval/Cancellation of MMID:

1.Send SMS “MMID SBI” to 9223440000 to retrieve your MMID.

2. Send SMS “MMIDCANCEL” to 9223440000 to cancel your MMID.

4. Accept Terms & Conditions and Change default MPIN through any one of the chosen mode to avail MBS on that mode.

5. Register A/c at the Home Branch of the Account. Registration via ATM will be enabled soon. (Process: ATM> Mobile Banking Registration > 10 digit Mobile number. Mobile Number should match with the one registered in the Branch)
MMID Creation/Retrieval/Cancellation

Go to ATM >Mobile Registration>IMPS>10 digit Mob No.>Confirm


MMID will be created next day and customer will receive SMS



(ii) Through Branch (will be enabled shortly)

User is required to approach the nearest SBT branch for online registration. MMID will be created immediately and customer will receive SMS.



2) MMID Retrieval

3) MMID Cancellation

1. Customer can download required application form from website “www.syndicatebank.in”  or can visit the branch to obtain application form.

2. Filled application form should be given to the branch where the account is being serviced.


3. Customer will receive a confirmation SMS regarding mobile banking facility extended to his/her account.

4. MPIN will reach his branch within 7 working days.

5 Customer needs to collect MPIN from the branch.
